*beats head on desk*

It's only been a week and already I find myself checking the prices for flights to San Antonio. I have to get out of here. >_<

Anti-angst bloggage

So I need something else to write about that isn't angst. This is going to be a short bit of bloggage, however, because my short attention span tells me I want to go and play Sim Egypt now. I have spent far too long today working on a fimo tonberry. o_0 That and ploughing through Andrew's Witch Hunter Robin dvds (in the dub, out of choice, I might add)

...I love Witch Hunter Robin. So. Very. Much. o_0

Have any of the committee considered that as an option for next year's schedule? It is *entirely* awesome. And I don't just mean that for Amon. *swoon* But he does help. ^______^

Angst

I'd just like to officially express my angst to the world about how *bad* this year has been. o_0 I appear to be bouncing out of one retarded situation into another. >_< Quite soon I'm going to take to bashing my head against a wall until I come up with a grand high solution to all this crap. >_<

Now I'm going to make things out of fimo. -_-

*splursplursplur...*

I *know* I have a lot to catch up on, but frankly it's not going to happen so you're going to get bullet points.

-Weekend at Ivan and Jane's. Awesomebad. We just own for playing Pictionary with a laptop and projector.

-Stratford-upon-Avon. Wonderful as ever, even nicer to be taking The Boyfriend around it.

-Home. Mixed bag, for reasons most people know about. >_<

-Heathrow Airport - A hole, as usual. Did I ever mention how much I hate departure areas in airports? They're the most depressing places on earth. Especially if you're me last Friday. >_< But D made it home safely and his family were elated to see him, so I suppose that's a good thing. I'd much rather he were here, of course. >_<

-Tasha's house. The *good* thing about Friday was getting to Hatfield and stopping to go to the shops then realising we were only a few miles from Taahular's. And lo did maternal parental unit and I pop in and say hello to Tashular and Tashular's lovely lovely family. ^____^ As if maternal unit need more reasons to utterly adore you, she thinks your family are wonderful too now. ^__^ The same goes for the rest of the Ass no Ryu too, oddly enough. ^__^ My mother is a huge fan of the collective because I hang out with Such Nice People. (If only she knew! o_0)

-Leisure activities. This is going back a bit, but I feel I need to recap because if I don't my brain will implode from the glee. I love original Gundam *so much*. o_0 The last week of Daniel being here had us watching all three of the (not-so-) orignal Gundam movies and they are very very much awesome on a stick. *cough* GARMA ZABI GLEE!! *cough* Yes, um, yes, I like Garma. If only he were in it a bit more. But at least one always has Char.

My other big leisure activity shames me as an Egypologist. I am utterly addicted to Pharaoh (or Sim Egypt, as it is known in my head o_0). Essentially it's Sim City with Egyptians, which doesn't make it a very original idea, but does make it a huge hit with Katy because it almost has pretensions to accuracy! I know! There are a few things I take some objection to on historical grounds, but they're minor enough not to spoil my enjoyment. ^__^ I have too much fun watching the little people running around Katyhotep, my geekily-named city. Not quite as geeky as my family name, Tjauenankhenkaty...styled on the name of my favourite Egyptian dog. ^__^;;;;

The *other* thing I'm doing is creating a huge amount of mess around the house with my business venture, passed down from Tashular. I'm not going to advertise my wares here right now though because a) I'd really feel like I was cheating and 2) none of it is very good yet, despite having sold two items. >_<

Anyway, that constitutes bloggage, doesn't it? Man, at least I'm not *Ivan*...then you could complain at me! :p

Because anything else would be depressing

You can all use this as your wallpaper. It's Trevor, my hamster. He looks like a poo.

Oh and Japanologists, can you tell me what this says?. It was on the pavement in Stratford.

More news when I don't feel so sad about Daniel leaving. -_-

Didn't see *this* one coming, did you? :O

"What anime/manga character do I most remind you of, and why? If you can't choose just one, feel free to put two or three. Then, post this in your journal and see what people say about you!"

Go on then, compare me to someone awful. :p

Owowowow...

Alright, I'll blog. But this is under extreme duress and a horrible, horrible amount of sunburn. I have been Outside. Shuddery shudder indeed.

So I haven't talked about the trip to London yet, which was awesome on a stick. I think most people know what happened because they were there at some point or another, but it was pretty smashing. Highlights for me included going to the Tower of London for the first time in my life and watch the bonkers raven that was blatently putting his act on for the crowd. But he was cute so I forgive him. ^____^ And we saw the crown jewels, hurray! Also highlight-tacular was London Zoo, because, again, I'd never been there before and the bats were amongst the most awesome things I have ever seen. Fascinating Fact: Bats have to turn right way up to wee. Awesome. I saw it. It was hilarious.

I think if Daniel were writing his highlights of the trip to London they might be a little different. I think the trip to the Trocadero might well come top. It was walking in to the arcade level and watching his jaw drop at the huuuuuge amount of wonderful things (possibly most of all F-Zero AX) for us to play with. And Guitar Freaks, always Guitar Freaks. I think the trips to the Japan Centre and Forbidden Planet went down well too since they yielded quite a haul of funky Gundam books. Oh and I'm told the Okonomiyaki restaurant was also one of the greatest things our visitor regards as London having to offer.

So after the departure from the capital we went off to my aunt's in Bath. Which was ummmm....nice, but invloves my little cousins who I simultaneously adore but who drive me insane. They are small, they are shouty, but they are incredibly good fun. Female cousin is frightening because she's the spitting image of me when I was a ten year old, mentally, not physically. She has stolen a large chunk of my reading matter for the moment too because she likes my books. ^____^ Littlest cousin is a law unto himself, but I suspect most people reading this would find him utterly hilarious, for that he is. He's just going through that six year old boy who likes to talk about farts phase. ^_____^

And, um, we went places! Like Bath! And we saw the Roman Baths! And we went to Wookie Hole, which is the awesomecoolest cave ever. Everyone should go there. We discovered a really nice Asian Art museum in Bath, too, which was quite smashing. Despite the fact that I was utterly knackered that day and could barely walk around it. o_0 But never mind.

And then there was a quick stop off at my Grandma's house and a visit to Stonehenge and Avebury. Stonehenge was made infinitely more amusing by listening to the Spanish audioguide (Stonehenge is near Saliss-booree, you know? And there was me saying Salisbury...) Avebury was infinitely more educational for mother and boyfriend as they had the pleasure of my personal guided tour of the site. All the secret history the hippies didn't want you to know!!! ^___^ Yes, that *was* educational.

And now I'm home, apart from yesterday when I wasn't home because we went to my favourite beach in the world ever. If you're very unlucky there will be pictures at some point. We played on the beach and I remembered just how much fun it is to dig holes. ^_____________^ Huuuuuuge great big holes on the beach! Holes that take two hours to dig and could fell a horse. ^___________^ Hole digging is awesome. Yes I am easily pleased. ("Sometimes", says Daniel. o_0)

And for the rest of this week I have been sad kippering about in the house watching the lovely amount of trash television that has been pumped in to my house since the advent of digital television. Yes I did end up caring about Big Brother and have no shame about it. Yes all of us did sit around the tv whooping with glee when Nadia won. :p

Now I'm going to sit somewhere cold.

Good news everyone...

They have new Advent Children pictures! But before you go running around in excitement, I draw your attention to this one. Oh well, it was never going to happen without the little moron was it? This, however, is probably a source of infinite glee to you, as it is to me. ^_^

I'm going to make ice cream and hatch more plots.

You wan' stuff???

Buy my stuff! No, really, I'm into the Minus Money and the credit card wolves are at my door. I'll be putting up a list of Stuff I Am Flogging On eBay shortly for an exclusive pre-auction viewing. So if you want some crap that presently belongs to me, you might just be able to have it. -_-

Bloggage about what I've been doing since you last saw me when I'm feeling a little less depressed.
