Emma Episode 3 - Confession

William's relatively quiet life is somewhat interrupted by the unannounced arrival of his friend Hakim, an Indian prince, bringing a horde of elephants and servants with him. Hakim takes William on a terrifying elephant ride through London which catches Emma's attention - while Emma patches him up, Hakim is entranced by Emma's good looks, and attempts to woo her. However, Emma does not return the sentiment, and all three are left to ponder their feelings.

What started out as a rather funny (although implausible) culture clash (I know Harrods used to sell elephants but I don't reckon they were allowed to run down Oxford Street) turned into a rather sombre relationship drama for the end of the episode, the resolution of which seemed fairly obvious given that the series is quite blatantly about Emma and William. However, again we had some excellent touches of animation here (the elephant ride in particular was wonderfully done) and a solidly entertaining storyline. I feel like I'm repeating myself over and over again with regards to Emma, which is a shame - it's just that, since it's not particularly bombastic or anything, it's difficult to say more other than how enjoyable it is.

Hi! I love Emma! Isn't William's sister pretty?
Keep up the good work!
