Whilst Luke plays away from home and the mystery of Rose’s father goes nowhere (seriously, she has no plotline), Claire reconciles with Ewan and Herve continues to machinate away merrily.

To sum up - AAARGH HERVE EVIL BASTARD. I’m not quite sure why Dr. Bender doesn’t want Lise remembering her past, though; I suppose it makes her less likely to take part in the experiment although that could easily backfire on Herve at some point. Oddly, however, I don’t see why seducing Kate is going to help him lift the curse on his family; presumably if he gets the Animus’ Book he can do something, but I’m not really sure at the moment since it’s only been referenced in passing. Nay mind.

Also, Emilio and Emma managed to go down a street in the taxi which had the same shop on both sides of the road (no, not a Starbucks). Isn’t New York amazing!
